We only do training for groups of 2 or more at work places using their equipment unless hired in.
A VOC covers:
- Test of underpinning knowledge
- Test of Practical Performance
- VOC issue if competent
- Refresher training conducted if required
Some work places workers or contractors to provide Verification of Competency (VOC). This is to ensure they have the current competencies to perform the work when:
- The training and assessment occurred a long time ago without any refresher training since
- The person has not done that type of work for an extended period of time
- There are questions about how well the original training and assessment was conducted
Timings:
A VOC takes 2 or more hours depending type, number of people and their level of training and experience.
